Waterproblems find their solutions
Flooding due to heavy rainfall or high surface water levels.
The flow in waterways, buffer basins and sewers is not limited, which can cause water nuisance after heavy precipitation.
ESEP Swirl Valve
The ESEP Swirl Valve is a flow limiter which can be used to limit the maximal discharge flow in waterways, buffer basins, sewage overflows and sewers. When the flow rate is high, the valve causes the water to swirl, which slows down the flow. This makes sure the predetermined maximal discharge is achieved, which in turn reduces the water nuisance downstream and in surface water through sewage overflows.
- Minimal maintenance through corrosion-free construction
- No use of moving parts
- No energy consumption through automatic formation of swirls because of the shape
- Easy and quick to place
- Little chance of blockage because the physical opening is not reduced in size
- Exact maximal flow rate
- Better conservation of water quality in trenches through reduction amount of sewage discharges
