Waterproblems find their solutions
Plastic pollution has a huge impact on water ecosystems. 8 billion kilograms of plastic annually ends up in the oceans. 80% of this plastic waste in oceans comes from rivers.
The Great Bubble Barrier
The Great Bubble Barrier is a barrier that blocks plastic waste using two diagonal bubble barriers (air screens). The barrier is places at the outflow of a river to the sea. By using the current of the river, the waste is directed to the banks where the waste gathers and can be easily collected, by using, for example, a conveyor belt.
