Issue
Inefficient operation waste water treatment plant
The operations of the WWTP can be more efficient.
In the current improved separated sewage system, two thirds of the run-off precipitation is discharged to the WWTP. Sometimes this also is with a multitude of sewage-free water, such as groundwater. This is detrimental to the efficiency and total nutrient emission of the WWTP.
Solution
Improved separated sewage system 2.0
With improved seperated sewage system (VGS) 2.0, only dirty water is discharged to the WWTP and the relatively clean rainwater is used locally in the water system. This ensures a large decrease in the supply of clean water to the WWTP, which reduces purification costs, among other things.
