Difficult wind turbine construcution cirumstances at sea

Difficult working conditions at open sea

Extreme weather and environmental conditions impede working activities at sea.

Windturbines at sea require large constructions at the sea bed. Increasing sea depth cause construction and installation costs to increase rapidly.

Floating wind turbines

The Tri-Floater is a floating platform on which wind turbines can be constructed. This allows wind turbines to be applied when the sea depth is larger than 50 meters. The Tri-Floater is not hampered by waves and is designed to minimize movements.

Drijvende windturbines.
