Contamination in water treatment processes

Print Email

Insufficient wastewater quality

Wastewater does not meet the required quality.

There are more and more contaminants in the water that need to be filtered out. The purification process takes a long time and does not completely filter out all substances.

Powder Active Carbon (PAK)

Powder Active Carbon, referred to as PAK, can absorb unwanted substances due to microstructure of the pores (<100 μm). This filtering method can be used both on a drinking and wastewater treatment. PAK ensures that substances such as nutrients, dissolved organic substances, micropollutants and heavy metals can be removed from the water.

  • Ensures that smell, taste and color are removed from the water.
  • Removes medicines from the water.
  • Absorbs micropollutants quickly and efficiently.
  • Due to the effectiveness, less carbon has to be used in relation to other carbon-based methods for an adequately requested removal efficiency.
